HEID Antriebstechnik can look back on 130 years of experience and specializes in the development and production of clutches and brakes in various designs, adapted to the requirements of our customers.
With the electromagnetic, hydraulic and pneumatic clutches and brakes, HEID is able to cover practically all areas of industrial applications.
However, the diversification of the task has changed: Areas of application are becoming more special - special solutions are increasingly in demand, requirements are more precise, not least security is more important.

History of HEID Antriebstechnik
Nikolaus Heid founded a workshop in Manderscheid, Germany in 1872 and started to develop and produce grain sorting machines. In principle, this technology still exists today. He soon had increasing success with it.
